After reading The 5 Love Languages of Children: The Secret to Loving Children Effectively, I was inspired to evaluate how I am engaging with my children. Spending quality time is one of the five languages, and this may not come as a surprise to many, but watching TV together doesn’t count. It’s being present and engaged with your child.
