“Life in Season” An Inspirational Read

With these winter months upon us, I found it was time to catch up on some reading. One of the blogs that I love to visit is At the Picket Fence.  This site is full of beautiful photos and inspirational ideas. These lovely ladies recently came out with a book called, “Life in Season: Celebrate the Moments That Fill Your Heart & Home.” When I saw how beautiful the cover was, I knew it was going to be a gem. The book is full of inspirational stories, creative ideas, and words of wisdom. It’s easy reading, and a beautiful book for a coffee table display. The book is written in away the reader can start or pick up whenever they want or feel inspired. A perfect book for year round, that discusses the season’s of life, and the seasons in our life.

“They imagined women walking out of their front doors and meeting neighbors and friends where their fences intercepted. They would talk over the pickets, drink coffee, swap recipes, share a great home decor idea or two, and invest in each other’s lives.” The introduction explains, in the most charming way.

“We wanted to create a community that wouldn’t be limited by geography. It would be available to women each day no matter where they lived. We began meeting them online At the Picket Fence. ” And so many years later, this book was created.
