Is there anything more fun than having a toddler at Halloween? With Libby being almost two, I can’t wait for Halloween this year.
As if I really needed another reason to get into the Halloween spirit. One tradition I love, “the night before Christmas Box.” I wanted to start this for Halloween. However, instead of the night before, I prefer doing it on the 1st of the month. This toddler Halloween basket is an easy way to soak up all of the fun that Halloween brings.
The perfect Halloween Toddler Basket
When I was coming up with ideas for the perfect toddler Halloween basket, there was one thing I knew I was going to put in there. Jammies! I found the perfect pair of zombie jammies for snuggling on crisp fall nights. A Halloween book, Five Black Cats, was another item I threw in the basket. It’s the perfect way to learn about Halloween through reading, and she is currently obsessed with “meow-meows.”
Halloween cupcakes our great for some family fun. I picked up the Halloween addition of Funfetti and some Halloween cream cheese frosting.
Sticking to the color theme (purple, orange, black, and green), I added some squeezable packs of apple sauce in green packaging.
Finally, I put everything into a traditional orange pumpkin bucket. I figure she can use this for Trick or Treating these upcoming years.
I still haven’t decide how to give her the basket. Perhaps a scavenger hunt? If you are looking for some fun ways to get your toddler excited about Halloween, try a toddler Halloween basket.
